On May 6th, the 5th Remote Sensing Application Conference was grandly held at the Chengdu Station. The theme of this conference is "Building a Large Ecological Environment for Remote Sensing Service Industry and Exploring New Momentum for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control", exploring new theories, technologies, and methods of remote sensing applications, expanding new fields of remote sensing applications, and sharing new progress and achievements in remote sensing applications.

The conference was hosted by Chengdu University of Science and Technology, Sichuan Geological Engineering Survey Institute Group Co., Ltd., Aerospace Hongtu Information Technology Co., Ltd., State Key Laboratory for Geological Disaster Prevention and Geological Environment Protection, and the Special Committee for Aeronautical Remote Sensing of Natural Disasters and Ecological Environment of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering. Dr. Zhang Shengde, President of Zhongke Remote Sensing, was invited to give a speech on the topic of "Real time perception and intelligent processing of unmanned aerial vehicle multi task payloads" and provide a technical summary and sharing.

On the eve of the conference, the establishment meeting of the Natural Disaster and Ecological Environment Aerial Remote Sensing Technology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering was held. Researcher Li Xiao, member of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Dr. Niu Jingrui, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Professor Xu Qiang, Vice President of Chengdu University of Technology and Executive Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory, Vice Captain Pan Guoyao of the First Geological Brigade of Sichuan Province, Chairman Ren Bin of Chengdu Zongheng Automation Technology Co., Ltd., and Dr. Zhang Shengde, President of ZKYS, attended the conference.

Professional Committee Establishment Conference

The meeting was chaired by Ge Daqing, the director of the China Natural Resources Aerial Geophysical Remote Sensing Center and the Institute of Remote Sensing Application Technology. Subsequently, Director Ge Daqing introduced the proposed candidates for the special committee and conducted an election to elect the first committee members, secretary-general, and party group members. Xu Qiang was elected as the chairman of the special committee; Ma Hongchao, Ge Daqing, Pan Guoyao, Ren Bin, and Zhang Shengde were elected as Vice Chairmen; Dong Xiujun was elected as the leader of the Party Group and Secretary General of the Special Committee. Professor Xu Qiang and Researcher Li Xiao presented appointment letters to the elected members and relevant responsible persons of the special committee.
