Hidden danger identification
Power line inspection expert software platform

The Power Line Expert (PLE) is a cutting-edge power line inspection platform independently developed by ZKYS. Designed for daily hazard detection and monitoring in the power industry, it integrates data collection services from ZKYS's UAV systems to deliver customized solutions for power line maintenance. Furthermore, this platform provides technical support and practical applications across various inspection fields, demonstrating its versatility in multiple industries.

Based on the high-precision point cloud data collected by the UAV with lidar, the environment such as trees and buildings along the transmission network and its surrounding areas is analyzed to provide decision-making basis for the hidden danger investigation of the power grid.

Point cloud and image data processing
Detection and analysis of point cloud defects and intersections
Point cloud automatic classification
Big data point cloud data pyramid rendering and EDL stereo visual effects
Multiple ways of human-computer interaction editing cash tower and LAS file synchronous attribute modification
Project management, automated batch data analysis
Application Area
  • Transmission line inspection
Rapidly inspect the vegetation growth in the line corridor (to prevent tree obstacles), illegal buildings, crossing and other external environmental risks, and generate high-definition orthoimage for analysis.
  • Substation/ converter station inspection
Check the appearance abnormalities and potential faults of equipment in close proximity and without dead corners to realize predictive maintenance.
  • Distribution network inspection
Check the cracks on the surface of wind turbine blades, lightning damage, leading edge corrosion, etc., without stopping the machine, high safety.
  • Post-disaster emergency inspection
After natural disasters such as storms, snow and ice, earthquakes and wildfires, the damage of power lines can be quickly assessed to provide decision-making basis for rescue and disaster relief and power supply recovery.
